Waterdrops

I have been playing with my Canon 100mm Macro lens to try to capture waterdrops. Thinking this is a easy job, well how wrong can I be.
I used an external flash at 1/250, different color water bassins, color paper as light reflector. It was very hard to get sharp images, these images are sharp but with a very shallow depth. Tips are welcome!
